To reward our HQ2 Cross Country Campers who constantly share their love for camp, who encourage younger runners and first-timers to join, and who build a strong, welcoming Michigan and National XC community! 

• Anyone who is already registered for HQ2 Cross Country Camp.
• Attended at least one past HQ2 camp or knowledgeable about camp information and details found on the website and instagram.
• Passionate about running and building team spirit.
• Active in their school’s XC or track team.
• Willing to share their story and promote camp in a positive way.

(Referrals tracked by name or code in registration form)

* 1 Camper Referred – You'll get to choose between an awesome HQ2 Camp Ambassador Hoodie or a $50 Swag Card to use on our camp merchandise.

* 2-3 Campers Referred – As a thank you, you'll receive a Free Camp Swag Store Gift Card worth $125 to pick out some more HQ2 gear.

* 4-5 Campers Referred – You'll earn a free weekend trip to the scenic Jeff Drenth / Charlevoix area, plus you'll also receive the Free Camp Swag Store Gift Card worth $125.

* 6 or more Campers Referred – If you manage to get seven campers to sign up (essentially a whole cross country team!), you'll receive a Free Camp week yourself.

* Top Referrer – The camper who refers the most individuals will earn the prestigious title of “Head Ambassador.” You'll receive an exclusive HQ2 hoodie, be featured in a special highlight on our social media channels, and receive special recognition during camp. You will also gain preferred counselor status upon graduation. 

• Talk with teammates, opponents, friends, younger runners, or youth club members. Share Camp Website 
• Host a “Camp Talk” at practice with coach permission, then share camp website to all team members via email or team communication apps. 
• Bring a friend to camp = automatic reward!
• Talk to teammates and friends on opposing teams at competitions. 
• Offer campers $75 off with a referral/discount code that they use at registration: 
• Referral Code: Ambassador Last name (Smith), HQ2, $75 = SmithHQ2$75  

• Share photos and memories from past HQ2 camps (Example: See Instagram and Camp Videos!)
• Use our hashtag: #hq2running, #hq2camp
• Past Campers: Instagram story challenge: post your favorite HQ2 running route, camp moment, or your “Why I Run” story.

• Messaging Access: Ask questions on the HQ2 instagram 
• Recognition at Camp: Campfire shoutout, swag giveaways, group photo, free trips

• Video Contest: Share why you love HQ2 – top videos get featured on Instagram and at camp.
• Camp Crew Leadership: Top ambassadors can help lead camp warm-ups or host morning motivation talks.
• Letters of Recommendation: Provided upon request for top-performing Captains.
